  • Dr Mock joined Northside Physical Medicine in 2004 bringing with him special interests in the use of prolotherapy in the management of chronic pain of ligamentous origin, the use of ultrasound in musculoskeletal conditions and postural correction exercises.

  • He completed his medical training from University of Sydney in 1978 and subsequently completed his Fellowship with both the Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian College of Physical Medicine. Dr Mock holds a Graduate Diploma and Master of Medicine in Physical Medicine from the University of Sydney.

  • Dr Mock trained with both the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine and the American College of Osteopathic Sclerotherapeutic Pain Management in prolotherapy, involving the injection of proliferants to tendon and ligament insertions to promote healing and pain management.

  • Dr Mock has developed expertise in the use of ultrasound for core training as well as guidance for injection procedures. He has completed courses in Australia and overseas in the use of real time ultrasound for musculoskeletal conditions.

  • His current interest is in the application of dynamic stabilisation exercises for rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions. This involves core training using real time ultrasound and correction of breathing dysfunction, corrective exercises for the integration of spinal segmental stability, peripheral stability and the correction of muscle activation patterns to improve functional fitness.

  • Dr Mock’s focus in patient management is to impart progressive knowledge of musculoskeletal biomechanics and to teach skills for self management and injury prevention.
